Short description Anna is a researcher in physical oceanography at AZTI Marine Research (Spain), where she coordinates the Coastal Engineering and Operational Oceanography group. She specialises in shelf-slope circulation and mesoscale activity in the Bay of Biscay, utilising in situ, remote sensing, and HF radar data. She has contributed to the development of the EuskOOS system and led several European projects, published over 70 scientific articles, and supervised several PhD theses. She is active in various European and international networks related to operational oceanography.
